One Health, biodiversity, and viromics

Join the WashU Center for the Environment for the Environmental Research Collaboration Series – our monthly lunch series aiming to build community among researchers, learn about one another’s work, share tools, and generate ideas for future collaboration.

This month’s lunch will feature:

Jacco Boon, PhD – Associate Professor of Medicine, Molecular Microbiology, Pathology & Immunology – Boon specializes in basic research on RNA viruses, with a special focus on emerging virus such as influenza virus, Bourbon virus and SARS-CoV-2.

Krista Milich, PhD – Assistant Professor of Biological Anthropology – Milich is a primate behavioral ecologist and socioendocrinologist with a particular interest in reproductive physiology and sexual selection.

Dave Wang, PhD – Professor, Microbiology, Pathology & Immunology – Wang’s research sits at the interface of molecular and cellular virology, genomics, and bioinformatics with the overall goal of exploiting novel viruses.
